CEO & President (Founder)
Franz Ronnie developed leadership qualities in his years of service as a United States Marine. Mr. Ronnie has a natural talent of engaging, communicating, motivating, and leading people. His focus has always been to build a network and infrastructure of professionals that can execute high valued operations for his companies and his investors. Franz’s goal is to create opportunities for both private and industry partners to generate long term residual income, grow a multi-faceted business, develop legacy assets, and provide generational wealth to everyone involved. Mr. Ronnie not only has a complete understanding of what it takes to advance Merica Oil’s agenda, but has proven to have the skills to bring our company to further success. Mr. Ronnie supports several charities including The Sempre Fi and the Tunnels to Towers Foundation. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, and travel.
VP of Operations
Robert Rother gained a Business Degree from the respected University of Oklahoma. He went on to obtain a certificate from The Leadership Academy in 2011. Formerly with Devon Energy Corporation, his over 18 years as a Petroleum and Reservoir Engineer has led to his expertise in the Eagle Ford, Mississippian Lime, Delaware, Permian, and Anadarko Basins. His skill set in the oil and gas industry includes field and reservoir studies, strategic portfolio modeling and analytics, log and seismic interpretation, acquisition and divestment analysis, regulatory compliance, reserve economics, capital budgeting, optimized well spacing and development plans, development and implementation of safety programs. Mr. Rother has proven himself extremely valuable through effective management and precise problem solving. His sound and systematic approach to business management will benefit the Partnership’s success.
VP of Legal & General Counsel
After getting her J.D. from Seattle University School of Law, Giuliana started her career with Washington Energy Exploration, Inc., where she helped build a company from 3 to over 100 employees with mid-continent exploration and production from the eastern Canadian Rockies to the state waters of Texas, rising to Vice President - Legal and Marketing. After moving to Texas, she has been a founding member of two law firms, the second being Vural Law Firm LLC. Mrs. Vural has worked in the upstream oil and gas industry for over 20 years. Mrs. Vural is the current President of the Texas Energy Council. She is also a member of the Tarrant County Bar Association (past President of its Energy Section), the Dallas Bar Association, the Fort Worth Association of Petroleum Landmen, and an executive member of Women’s Energy Network’s North Texas chapter. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and being active in the energy community of North Texas.
Sean Deenihan gained a B.A. Degree in Geology and in Economics from the University of Kansas. He is a member of the Kansas Geological Society. His passion for finding oil and gas has led to his expertise in the Mid-Continent, especially in Kansas. Implementing his geological expertise and economic analysis of oil and gas prospects, Mr. Deenihan has proven himself extremely valuable in sourcing the Oil and Gas Properties for the Fund. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family.
Paul Richardson gained a B.S. Degree in Petroleum Geology from the University of Oklahoma and a M.S. in Geology from Oklahoma State University. Formerly with Devon Energy Corporation, Double Eagle, and Panther Energy. With over 14 years as a geologist, he has expertise in the Rockies, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Texas, and Arkansas, including the Permian, Ardmore, Marietta, Anadarko, Gulf Coast, and Powder River Basins. His skill set includes data organization and software such as Petra, Geographics, and Petrel. Paul’s interests include his family, gardening, and farming.

Merica Oil’s founder, Franz Ronnie, is an active participant in and supporter of the Fund.
The Tunnel to Towers Foundation honors the sacrifice of firefighter Stephen Siller who laid down his life to save others on September 11, 2001, and the military and first responders who continue to make the supreme sacrifice of life and limb for our country.
